Murray McPhillips

Murray McPhillips, AIA, NCARB, is an experienced architectural professional with a diverse background in design, planning, and construction management within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture, Design & Construction at Hilton in Chicago since June 2017, Murray oversees new build projects ranging from $15 million to $100 million for various hotel brands. Prior roles include Director of Design & Planning at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, managing projects valued between $200,000 and $250 million, and Design Manager/Project Manager at Marriott International, where projects were valued up to $100 million. Murray holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba.
