Hilume is a startup created during the entrepreneurship program called European Innovation Academy https://www.inacademy.eu/  

Our aim is to help retail chains increase sales of food products for those with dietary restrictions using augmented reality technology. 

In the United States, 85% of people have dietary restrictions with over 15 million with food allergies. Hilume uses radio-frequency labels in grocery stores and an augmented reality app to allow consumers to filter and find foods by simply pointing their smartphones at the grocery shelves. 

Over 70% of shoppers report they would shop more often at a retailer if they offered augmented reality and 40% would be willing to pay more. Hilume is the first grocery shopping tool utilizing augmented reality.
