Marco Bal

Marco Bal has extensive experience in process operations and guidance, currently serving as a Process Operator and intern Honeywell/HIMA specialist at Vitol Group since June 2017, following the transition of Koch HC Partnership to VPR. Marco has held the position of Shift Team Lead and Assessor at Technicom Opleidingen since 2014, focusing on trainee operator assessments. Previous roles include guiding for Honeywell Process Solutions and HIMA since 2009, providing support during system updates and improvements. Marco also spent 16 years at Koch Industries, where responsibilities included conducting HAZOP studies and mentoring new control room operators. Early career experience includes positions as an Area Technician at Q8 Kuwait Petroleum and various trainee roles, supported by education from MTS Rotterdam Zuid and RSG Middelharnis.
