Brian Compas

Brian Compas, LFHIMSS, PMP, is a seasoned professional in the healthcare information and management systems sector, currently serving as a Fellow at the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) since 1985. With a diverse career spanning several key roles, Brian previously worked as a Project Manager at Corcentric from February 2019 to April 2022, and held the position of Consulting Project Manager at Cerner Corporation from July 2011 to July 2018. Prior to these roles, Brian was a Consultant at IBM from 2005 until mid-2011, and a Logistics Consultant at Owens & Minor, Inc. from 2000 to 2005. The early part of Brian's career includes a significant tenure as Director of Management Engineering at Abington Memorial Hospital from 1985 to 2000. Educationally, Brian holds a BS in Commerce and Engineering Sciences with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, completing this degree between 1973 and 1978.
