David Schoetz

David Schoetz is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and journalism. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Manager for Equinor Renewables Americas since October 2023, David oversees media relations and communications strategy for major renewable energy projects. Prior to this role, David worked at ABC News from February 2016 to October 2023, contributing as a Senior Producer and Writer across various programs, including "Nightline" and "GMA3." David has held key positions at Civic Entertainment Group, Firing Line with Margaret Hoover, and msnbc, where notable achievements include managing bilingual broadcasts and executive speechwriting for Ford Motor Company events. David holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colby College.
