Jonathan French, CPHIMS, FHIMSS has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jonathan started at Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier as a Coordinator of Visitor Services in 2002. In 2005, they transitioned to the Closeup Foundation as a Program Instructor, where they conducted meetings with policymakers and developed lesson plans on effective advocacy. Jonathan then joined HIMSS in 2006, starting as Manager of Federal Affairs and progressing to become the Senior Director of Public Policy and Content Development. Their expertise lies in healthcare informatics, quality measurement, and patient safety initiatives, demonstrating their commitment to utilizing information and technology to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes.
Jonathan French earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Emory & Henry College in 2003. Prior to that, they attended Abingdon High School from 1992 to 1996. Jonathan has also obtained certifications such as CPHIMS in 2017 and FHIMSS, among others.
