Leigh C. Burchell

Leigh C. Burchell has extensive experience in health policy and public affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Policy & Public Affairs at Altera Digital Health since 2008, where responsibilities include building the Government Affairs function. Burchell holds significant roles within the Electronic Health Record Association, including Executive Committee Member, Co-Chair of the Information Blocking Task Force, Chair of the Public Policy Leadership Workgroup, and Co-Chair of the Opioid Crisis Task Force. Involvement extends to Executives for Health Innovation and HIMSS, further emphasizing expertise in health IT advocacy and strategy. Previous experience includes positions at United Health Group and various leadership roles in health policy committees. Burchell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a focus on Constitutional History from Wesleyan University.
