Melissa Robbin has extensive experience in nursing informatics and education, with a professional history spanning over two decades. Since 1997, Melissa has been actively involved with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), holding several leadership roles, including Chairperson of the Distance Education and Annual Conference Education Committees, and serving on the Nominating Committee. Melissa has also contributed to the nursing field as an IT Senior Clinical Solutions Strategist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and has held faculty positions at multiple academic institutions, including Excelsior College and Barry University. Additionally, Melissa served as a Volunteer Coordinator for Community Animal Rescue & Adoption and chaired a sub-committee at South University. Melissa earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Nursing Informatics from Loyola University Chicago and holds an MSN in Informatics from the same institution.
