Mike Moran

Mike Moran possesses extensive experience in event management and editorial leadership. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Event Programs at HIMSS since 2011, Mike has successfully launched and developed an event portfolio that generates $3.5 million annually. Prior to this role, Mike was the Executive Editor at HME News from 1997 to 2011, where leadership and management skills were demonstrated by overseeing a team of editors and freelance writers, contributing to the significant growth of the publication from 24-page monthly issues to over 100 pages. Mike holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Hampshire.
