Paul Matthews

Paul Matthews possesses extensive experience in health information technology and interoperability, currently serving on various committees and boards dedicated to advancing health information exchange. At HIMSS, Matthews contributes to the Interoperability & Health Information Exchange Committee, focusing on the development of standards for secure health information exchange. As a member of the Board of Directors for both the Central Oregon Health Information Exchange and The Sequoia Project, Matthews plays a pivotal role in promoting community health improvements through information sharing. Additionally, Matthews holds significant leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at OCHIN, Inc., overseeing IT strategy and governance across seven states. With a strong background in implementing health IT solutions and engaging in statewide initiatives, Matthews is a key figure in fostering effective health information networks.
