Roger Yin, PhD, CISSP, CPHIMS, GSNA, CISM, CGEIT, ITIL-F, serves as a Professor of Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater since January 1994, with expertise in IT governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity management. Current roles include Co-PI/Lead Instructor for the NSA GenCyber Student Summer Camp and Principal Point of Contact for the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense at UW-W. Roger also contributes as Co-PI on notable grants from the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Labor, focusing on enhancing cybersecurity training and bridging skills gaps. Additional leadership positions include Board Director for the Wisconsin Chapter of HIMSS and Director of Technology for the National Black Student Union.
