Ruth Bowen

Ruth Bowen, MBA, CPHQ, CPHIMS, has extensive experience in health information technology education and management. Currently serving as an Instructor for HIT Modules at District 1199c Training and Upgrading Fund since 2011, Ruth develops curricula to prepare students for the Digital Patient Record Certification. Additionally, as an Adjunct Professor at Camden County College, Ruth teaches Health Information Technology with a focus on Electronic Health Records. Ruth is also a Certified Instructor for CPHIMS and CAHIMS Review Courses at HIMSS, delivering training sessions both remotely and at in-person events. Previous roles include product and business management positions at Siemens Health Services and MedSeries4, as well as editorial responsibilities with AHIMA. Ruth holds a BA from Bucknell University and an MBA from Saint Joseph's University, specializing in Business and Health Administration.
