Avinandan Roy

Avinandan Roy has extensive experience in the engineering and procurement sectors, primarily within Hindalco Industries Limited. From June 2017 to July 2019, Avinandan served as Purchase Manager, leading procurement and store operations, and subsequently worked as Maintenance Manager at an Aluminum Rolling Plant. Currently, in the role of Head of Project Department at Hindalco's Belur unit, Avinandan oversees engineering design, planning, reliability, and maintenance planning, focusing on Capex planning for various projects. Prior to this, Avinandan worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Novelis from July 2019 to March 2020, specializing in mechanical maintenance at a Hot Rolling Mill. Avinandan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, in 2010.
