Ben Farina

Ben Farina is the Senior Vice President and international Representative of the Asian Arts department at Freeman's / Hindman Auctions in Philadelphia, a position they have held since December 2016. They have over 30 years of experience in the fine art world, having previously served as Vice President and certified appraiser at Gurr Johns International from 2009 to 2016, and as a senior cataloguer at Sotheby’s, New York from 2000 to 2008. Ben holds a Master of Arts in Fine & Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute in London and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, featuring a double major in Studio Art and History. As a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America, Ben specializes in Chinese Works of Art and General Fine and Decorative Arts.
