At Hindsight our vision is to solve the software requirements crisis for Agile development teams, by creating innovative tools that support Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) / Specification by example.

We are an enterprise grade software and training company that focuses on BDD which is a collaborative analysis technique for discovering and communicating software requirements between business stakeholders and software developers, by helping reduce the amount of time spent on rework caused by misunderstood requirements - a common failure point in many projects.

Enhancing agile methodologies, BDD helps teams communicate requirements with more precision, discover defects early and produce software that remains maintainable over time. Our hero tool, Behave Pro, is where BDD meets Atlassian Jira and helps product owners, developers and testers understand and agree software requirements and specifications by discussing example behaviour, supporting user story collaboration.

In addition, our cost-effective expert-led on-site BDD training gets the whole team onto the same page for successful adoption of BDD techniques.

Supplying most industries ranging from e-commerce to regulated environments including medical software and retail banking, we are BDD software practitioners building tools for fellow practitioners which natively integrate with our customers’ existing tools – including Behave Pro for Jira and BDD Insights for Bamboo. So why not get in touch with us at hello@hindsightsoftware.com to see how you can apply BDD in the real world.
