Hersh Patel

Hersh Patel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hersh founded and served as the CEO of Hindsight Technology Solutions, an NLP technology company focused on contextual intelligence for content recommendation and cookieless optimization. Hersh was responsible for managing the engineering and data science team, product development, building strategic partnerships with customers, and fundraising.

Prior to that, Hersh worked as a Product Lead (Consultant) at The News Project from June 2018 to February 2020.

Hersh also worked as an Investment Professional at Goldman Sachs from January 2015 to March 2017. During their tenure, they closed 32 investments totaling approximately $750 million and co-managed a Senior Credit Fund with a $500 million mandate. Hersh led due diligence, financial modeling, and investment presentations across various industries.

Before that, Hersh worked as a Credit Solutions Group Analyst at Macquarie Group from July 2013 to November 2014 and as an Investment Management Analyst at Russell Investments from January 2013 to April 2013.

Hersh Patel began their education journey in 2017 at Flatiron School, where they pursued a degree in Software Development with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. Hersh is currently in the process of completing this program. Additionally, in 2018, they joined the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY as a Tow-Knight Fellow. During their time at CUNY, Hersh focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. The end year for their CUNY program was 2019.
