Benjamin Rodney

Benjamin Rodney is an accomplished professional in the construction and engineering sector, currently serving as the East Region ESG Leader at Hines since May 2013. In this role, Benjamin coordinates ESG efforts across major markets such as New York City, Boston, Washington DC, and Philadelphia, with a focus on implementing decarbonization strategies at the project level. Additionally, as Vice President of Construction, Benjamin leads the deep decarbonization retrofit of the 345 Hudson Street Empire Building Challenge, applying Nordic principles. Previous experience includes serving as a Construction Manager for high-profile projects like 56 Leonard Street and roles in managing MEP design at Jaros Baum & Bolles. Benjamin began a career in mechanical design as an intern at Burt Hill and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
