Michael Xu is currently an Associate in Acquisitions & Development at Hines, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael has extensive experience in investment banking, having served as an Investment Banking Associate and Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley from September 2019 to the present and at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets from August 2018 to September 2019. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Consultant at Monitor Deloitte in mid-2017 and as an Equity Research Associate at Canalyst in the summer of 2016. Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from The University of British Columbia in 2018 and completed high school at University Hill Secondary School in 2014.
