Steven Mathieson

Steven Mathieson, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Hines, a position held since July 2008, specializing in Real Estate Private Equity. In this role, Steven oversees large scale real estate development projects, including Residential, Industrial/Logistics, and Office sectors, managing all phases from deal origination to the execution of asset exit strategies. Responsibilities include conducting business opportunity analysis, structuring complex financial models, ensuring due diligence coordination, and leading strategic marketing efforts. Steven also has experience from a six-month tenure in Hines’ fund management department in Houston and previously worked as a Financial Analyst at BPN Brasil. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and a CFA designation obtained in 2013.
