Emily Hittner

Emily Hittner, PhD, is the VP of Research at Hinge, where they lead efforts to enhance the dating experience through mixed-method research that prioritizes compassion and authenticity. Prior to this role, Emily served as Director of Research at Hinge, managing a diverse team and contributing valuable insights into user behavior. They built a foundation in research as a Mixed-methods Researcher at The Graduate School at Northwestern University, delivering presentations and publishing extensively in leading psychology journals. Additionally, Emily’s commitment to mentorship and civic engagement is evident through their work with Bike & Build as a board member. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Human Development and Social Policy at Northwestern University.
