hinterland.camp is Germany’s leading platform and community for unique outdoor stays — connecting landowners with outdoor enthusiasts who seek meaningful nature experiences off the beaten path.

At hinterland, we believe that it’s time for a new way of traveling: More conscious and local, celebrating the outdoors and the road less taken. Why travel far when you can discover new adventures nearby?

We started our mission in 2020 pioneering the peer-to-peer camping market. In 2021, we accommodated 25K overnight stays and partnered with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and their legendary VW California family.

As we head into Spring 2022, we’re setting course to expand our community across Europe. Feel free to reach out and join us on our exciting journey! 🚌
