Kara Smith began their work experience in 2005 as an Intake Coordinator & Supervised Visitation Facilitator for Associates in Human Development Counseling. In 2007, they joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as a Global Project Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Collateral Analyst, Cash Flow Analyst, and Account Representative, Emerging Markets. From 2015 to 2022, they worked as a Freelance Writer & Designer and published over 200 titles. Currently, they are an Evergreen Content Writer & Photographer for Hip2Save, creating valuable content that helps readers live better lives. Her duties include creating daily original content, updating older articles for SEO optimization, conducting SEO keyword research and analysis in SEMrush, photography and videography for digital marketing and social media, and encouraging and maintaining a value-add mindset.

Kara Smith attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied Mathematics and Business, and Indiana University East, where they studied English, Professional and Technical Writing, and International Studies. Kara also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification in June 2014.
