Emily Risley

Emily Risley is a Systems Administrator at HIPAA Vault since September 2020, with a background in software development and research. Prior experience includes a Systems Programmer Internship at Hawaii Volcano Observatory, where Emily developed earthquake mapping software and enhanced seismological alert systems using Python. Emily has also contributed as a Research Assistant at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i and participated in biostatistics research, focusing on spatial analysis and modeling in R. Education culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, achieved in 2020, alongside roles as a tutor and library assistant.
