Aaron Ballard has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and finance industries since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Data Analyst / Research Assistant at the Department of Economics at UCLA. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Trader - Int'l Fixed Income and Investment Analyst at CORPVIDA. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Currency and Derivatives Trader - Trading Desk at Banco Santander Chile. In 2016, they participated in General Assembly's Web Development Immersive Remote program. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Frontend Lead / Full Stack Developer and Full Stack Developer at HiringThing, and as a Backend Developer / Product Manager at SmartboxTV SpA. Finally, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Button.

Aaron Ballard attended Redlands East Valley High School from 1996 to 2000. Aaron then returned to the University of California, Los Angeles from 2000 to 2002 to study Computer Science. Aaron completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. In 2016, they attended General Assembly for Web Application Development.
