Matthew Little has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and architecture. Matthew most recently worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Hiro Systems PBC starting in November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Hosho as a Senior Software Architect from February 2018 to November 2018. At Hosho, they were responsible for leading the architecture of the Meadow tool suite, a smart contract development and testing framework for Ethereum. Matthew also developed the first proper Solidity Debugger within an IDE, and served as a senior smart contract security auditor.
Before joining Hosho, Matthew worked at Pingman Tools as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2014 to February 2018. During their time there, they developed a distributed cloud backend capable of processing and storing large amounts of trace route data points. Matthew also led the development for a new generation of Pingman Tools.
Prior to Pingman Tools, Matthew worked at Appointment Keeper from November 2011 to 2014 as a Software Engineer. Matthew contributed to the development of a scheduling platform used by appointment-based businesses to prevent client no-shows. The platform featured a desktop website, mobile website, and Android app.
Matthew's earlier work experience includes a role as an Associate Software Engineer at CBS Interactive from May 2012 to July 2013. In this role, they rewrote the R&D website future.com and worked on debugging and maintaining an internal cookie auditing system named "Sentry".
Matthew Little attended the University of Idaho from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they studied Computer Science, although they did not specify a specific degree.
