John McManus

John McManus is an attorney at Hirschler, focusing on real estate transactions across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond. Currently, John manages the Fredericksburg office and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors as well as chairing the Information Technology Committee. John’s extensive experience includes advising clients in real estate development, business operations, and estate planning, complemented by prior in-house counsel experience with a national title insurer. They hold a JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law, an MS in Real Estate from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in History with a minor in Economics from Bowdoin College. John has also actively contributed as a board member for both the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region and the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust from 2009 to 2022 and 2018 to 2022, respectively.
