Hi, we are Hirsi.

Founded in May 2021, Hirsi was born with a simple yet ambitious mission: to craft the best narratives, no matter the format or genre. To us, storytelling is more than just entertainment—it’s a powerful bridge that connects people, emotions, and ideas. Our goal is to create stories that don’t just capture attention but leave a lasting impact—stories that captivate, move, and inspire.

At Hirsi, we embrace storytelling in all its forms—film, literature, interactive media, and emerging digital platforms. We push boundaries, experiment fearlessly, and seek fresh ways to engage and immerse our audience. Every piece we create is designed to evoke emotion, spark conversation, and foster deep empathy.

But more than just telling stories, we strive to share meaningful experiences. We want our narratives to resonate with people from all walks of life—to make them feel seen, heard, and understood. Because, at its core, storytelling is about human connection. And that’s what we aim to achieve with every project.

### What’s in a name?

Hirsi is pronounced [ˈhi-r-s̠i], but here’s a fun fact—if you swap the letters R and S, it becomes *Hi-Sir*. Some of our friends find it easier to remember that way, and we love their perspective. It reflects what we stand for—an unconventional mix of formal and casual approaches to storytelling.

Curious about the origin of our name? In Finnish, "Hirsi" originally means a wooden log or an unbreakable force—something strong, steady, and enduring. This perfectly represents our work ethic: we’re not about flashy trends or over-polished perfection. Instead, we focus on creating stories that are **reliable, functional, and built to last**.

And hey, a wooden log is affordable too, isn’t it? So why not book us while we’re still at a reasonable price?

We welcome any **good-to-great brief** and are always ready to collaborate.

### Let’s cook something amazing together. 🎬
