Rotem Aviv

Rotem Aviv is an applied researcher at Hirundo and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. They hold a Master’s degree in Machine Learning and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution. Rotem has experience as an Algorithm Developer at Qualcomm, where they developed ray tracing algorithms, and served as a Research Assistant at the Technion, focusing on imaging algorithms. They also worked briefly as an Applied Research Scientist at Amazon Web Services in 2024, researching algorithms for Large Language Models. With a strong background in Machine Learning, Optimization, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Rotem is committed to leveraging their skills to solve complex real-world challenges.
