Barry Wright

Barry Wright is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Chief Actuary at Hiscox Insurance Company UK since January 2020, Barry has held various roles including Reserving Manager and Interim Actuarial Function Holder at Hiscox S.A. Prior to this position, Barry worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from September 2010 to January 2020, where responsibilities included Head of Reserving for UK Commercial Insurance, GCUK Reserving Actuary, and Technical Pricing Analyst. Barry holds a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree from St Hugh's College, University of Oxford, completed in 2010, and attended Rickmansworth School from 1999 to 2006.
