Jeffrey Loper

Jeffrey Loper is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the reinsurance industry, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Development and previously as Financial Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Hiscox. With a strong background in US GAAP and IFRS, Loper has held key financial roles at companies including Fidelis Insurance and Hannover Re, where responsibilities encompassed managing finance teams, preparing financial statements, and contributing to solvency reporting. Prior experience includes positions at Ernst & Young and managerial roles in audit and tax services, alongside a foundational role as an internal auditor at Enbridge. Loper holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alberta, and has attained the Chartered Accountant designation and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
