John Hill

John Hill is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure management and support. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Specialist at Hiscox since January 2019, John previously held the role of Group Wintel Infrastructure Team Leader and Wintel Solutions Analyst at CPP Group plc, where responsibilities included ensuring PCI and ISO27001 compliance while managing a large server and client infrastructure across multiple countries. Prior to this, John worked as a Systems Manager at The Centre for Mental Health, The Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, focusing on developing and maintaining IT infrastructure. John began his career at Norwich Union Life, providing first-line support during a significant merger. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield and A-Level qualifications in Physics from York College of Further and Higher Education.
