Stuart Allen

Stuart Allen has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Hiscox Partner since March 2016, specializing in Kidnap and Ransom Crisis Management and holding the position of Head of Underwriting for K&R Special Risks. Prior to Hiscox, Stuart held various underwriting roles at Catlin from June 2006 to March 2016 and at AIG from October 2002 to June 2006, focusing on crisis management areas such as terrorism and product recall. Stuart began the career at Generali, working as an Underwriting Assistant in the Liability Team while managing K&R reinsurances for Latin America. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Plymouth, completed in 1998, and possesses A Levels obtained at Reigate Sixth Form College.
