Tom Sutton

Tom Sutton is a seasoned property underwriter with extensive experience in the Lloyd's market, currently serving as a Senior Property Underwriter at Hiscox since July 2018. In this role, Tom specializes in underwriting D&F Property and Energy risks. Previously, Tom worked as a Trainee Property Underwriter at Syndicate 33, where responsibilities included underwriting property binding authorities focused on the US and Canada. Prior to entering underwriting, Tom gained experience at UBS as a GRC Associate and completed an industrial placement at UBS. Early career experience includes a role as a Property Consultant at Quick Move Properties. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Surrey, obtained in 2015.
