Benoit Liénard

Benoit Liénard has held a variety of roles in the legal and intellectual property fields. In 2002, they began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Merck. Benoit then moved on to a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Oxford in 2006. In 2007, they joined IP Asset Group, LLC as a Part-qualified UK Patent Attorney. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Cabinet Beau de Loménie as a French & European Patent Attorney. Finally, they joined Histide in 2015, where they have served as Chief Intellectual Property Officer, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Member of the Board of Directors, and IP and Legal Counsel.

Benoit Liénard has a diverse educational background. Benoit obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 2000-2001, a Master's degree in Chemistry, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier in 2002-2006, a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemical Biol from the University of Oxford in 2006-2008, a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University London in 2008-2009, a Qualified French Patent Attorney from French Patent Attorney Institute (CNCPI) in 2009-2013, a Qualified European Patent Attorney from European Patent Attorney Institute (epi) in 2009-2012, and a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI in 2010-2011.
