Simon Graham

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Histofy

Simon Graham has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Simon is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Histofy since January 2023. Prior to this, Simon worked at the University of Warwick as an Assistant Professor from November 2021 to December 2022. Simon also held the position of Senior Research Fellow (Data Scientist) from April 2020 to November 2021 and Data Scientist from October 2019 to April 2020 at the same university.

Simon's experience includes working as a Deep Learning Research Scientist at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from January 2018 to April 2018. Simon worked as a Data Scientist at Kaido, a digital health company, from September 2016 to December 2017. At Kaido, Simon developed algorithms to transform health data into actionable insights.

Additionally, Simon has gained valuable experience through their internships. Simon worked as an Assurance Summer Intern at EY in the summer of 2014.

Simon also has a background in sports. Simon served as an EPDG Strength and Conditioning Coach at Leicester Tigers, overseeing weekly strength and conditioning sessions for players in the Elite Player Development Group from December 2011 to January 2014. Simon also worked as an Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach at Derby County Football Club from September 2012 to February 2013.

Simon Graham began their education at The Sixth Form College Solihull from 2008 to 2010. Simon then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics at Loughborough University from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, Simon continued their education at the University of Warwick, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics in 2016. Simon further pursued a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Warwick, specializing in "Localisation and Symmetry in Computational Pathology," starting in 2016 and currently in progress. In addition to their formal education, Simon has obtained certifications in Deep Learning from Udacity in June 2016 and in Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2016.
