Matthew Rootes

Matthew Rootes is a Principal R&D Engineer at HistoSonics, Inc., with a diverse background in engineering roles within the medical device sector, including a tenure as a Senior Systems Engineer at Medtronic. Rootes has extensive experience in hardware, software, and system testing, contributing to projects that required familiarity with lung anatomy and Electromagnetic-Navigated Bronchoscopy. Prior to Medtronic, Rootes worked as an Associate Test Engineer at Element Materials Technology, where responsibilities included conducting product qualification testing, writing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance through quality control measures.
