Amanda Muledy has over 8 years of experience in the writing and editing field. In 2011, they started working as a Freelance Editor, providing clients with professional editing services and coaching them on how to be better writers. In 2012, they became a Tutor at Lake Forest College, where they completed six weeks of intensive training and assisted students with global argument structure and sentence-level clarity. In 2013, they joined AMCA International as a Technical Editor, where they designed, edited, and published American national standards and other bodies of work. Amanda also edited articles and white papers, created and managed committee ballots and resulting data, assembled and edited reports and research, composed and continually grew an in-house editorial style guide, and managed blogs and social media. In 2017, they founded Hit Subscribe, which provides tech companies with content marketing strategy and execution.

Amanda Muledy attained an A.A. degree in General from Harper College between 2007 and 2011. Amanda then went on to earn a B.A. in English from Lake Forest College between 2011 and 2013. In January 2014, they completed a Technical Writing Course from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
