Hyde has held the role of Executive Chairman at HIT Training Ltd since 2006.
Hyde is also Executive Chairman of the Executive Development Network, a role held since 2020.
Hyde founded Hospitality Plus in 1993 and grew it to the largest hospitality training company, operating from 40 sites, employing around 500 staff, and training some 20,000 young people annually.
Hyde founded HIT (Hospitality Industry Training) in 2006 to deliver Train to Gain to the hotel and catering sector and has led HIT through multiple program transitions to Apprenticeship Standards.
Hyde holds an honorary fellowship from the Institute of Hospitality and a CBE for services to education and training; Hyde sits on the boards of AELP and ETF, chairs AELP's Hospitality group, and is a patron of Springboard and Hospitality Action.
