James Wang

James Wang has extensive work experience in the engineering field. James began their career as a Research Assistant at the Advanced Optoelectronics Laboratory in Taiwan in 2003. James then worked as a Research Assistant at the Nanostructure Materials & Devices Laboratory at the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2010. Following that, James served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2011. James then joined the Nanoelectronics and Advanced Material Innovation Laboratory at USC as a Research Assistant from 2010 to 2011. James'snext role was as an Electronics Engineer at Hitachi High-Technologies Science America, Inc. from 2011 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, James held the position of Senior Device Engineer at the same company. James then joined EMCORE Corporation as a Senior Principal Engineer in 2021 and held the position until 2023. Currently, James works as a Senior Principal Engineer at Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc.

James Wang obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan, from 2001 to 2005. James then pursued two Master of Science degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and another in Materials Engineering, from the University of Southern California (USC) from 2007 to 2009 and from 2009 to 2011, respectively. In addition to their degrees, James has obtained several certifications in machine learning, data visualization, data analysis, and Python programming. James is also a U.S. citizen, having obtained citizenship in 2021.
