Andre Fischer has extensive experience in mechanical testing and quality assurance within the energy sector. Currently serving at Hitachi since November 2017 as part of the Mechanical Testing Competence Centre, Andre is responsible for mechanical routine testing of gas-insulated switchgear and supports the factory operations. Previous roles include a Quality & OpEx Testing Specialist at ABB, where responsibilities encompassed process evaluation and maintenance of test systems, and a supervisor/commissioning engineer at Z-Consult AG for GIS products globally. Early in his career, Andre held positions in various companies, including AREVA T&D and Soudronic AG, focusing on testing technologies and customer training. Educationally, Andre holds degrees in Business Technology and Information Technology from Höhere Fachschule HF Baden, complemented by an apprenticeship in electromechanics.
