Ashokkumar C

Ashokkumar C, PhD, is a Senior Researcher at Hitachi since October 2019, where responsibilities include leading projects to automate the classification and grouping of vulnerabilities using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. Ashokkumar also designs next-generation security solutions architecture focused on supply chain security. Previous roles at Hitachi included Associate Researcher, contributing to the Hitachi Incident Response Team, and Assistant Researcher, focusing on product security and vulnerability management. Prior to Hitachi, Ashokkumar was a Doctoral Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where teaching roles included Head Coordinating TA for a large computer programming course. Ashokkumar holds a PhD in Cryptography and Data Security from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
