Manuel Valverde

Manuel Valverde serves as the Chief Risk Management Officer for Hitachi's Green Energy & Mobility Sector, where responsibilities include leading Enterprise Risk, Crisis Management, and risk management related to M&A and critical projects. Valverde is also involved in various executive roles within Hitachi, including Corporate Officer and Executive Advisor positions, as well as board memberships across multiple Hitachi subsidiaries. Valverde's previous experience includes serving as General Manager for GE Power's Gas Power Systems Global Projects, where leadership of high-risk project execution was paramount, and as Executive Vice President at Abengoa, focusing on strategic relations and business development in the Energy sector. Valverde holds an MBA and has a mathematics degree, complemented by senior management training at IESE Business School.
