Michael Kampen

Michael Kampen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, project management, and construction management, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Hitachi America, Ltd. since November 2003. Kampen has held several key positions within Hitachi, including roles in both North America and Europe, where responsibilities included leading multinational engineering procurement groups, negotiating significant contracts, and establishing procurement strategies. Prior experience includes quality and project management roles at ENERCON GmbH and Balcke-Dürr, where significant contributions were made to process improvement and client relations. Kampen holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and completed an Executive Management program at Wharton in 2006.
