Andrew Datsenko

Andrew Datsenko is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and solutions management across multiple sectors, including rail and telecommunications. Currently serving as the APAC Global Categories Procurement Manager at Hitachi Rail since January 2017, Andrew leads end-to-end sourcing activities, manages supplier evaluations, and aligns strategies within category teams. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Ansaldo STS, where responsibilities included driving bid activities and managing solution architecture, along with global commodity procurement in telecommunications. Previous experience includes roles at Nortel Networks, where Andrew drove revenues for wireless portfolios, and positions in consulting and engineering at organizations such as NSW Police Force and Ericsson. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, a PhD in Economy, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Telecommunication.
