Andy Taylor has a diverse work experience in various industries. Andy started their career in 1992 as a Recruitment Consultant at Robert Walters Associates. Andy then worked as a Consultant/Senior Consultant at Meville Craig Group from 1995 to 1999. After that, they served as the Manager for Scotland at Plexian Computing from 1999 to 2001. Andy then joined Elan Computing as a Team Leader in the Permanent Division, where they managed recruitment consultants and handled new business development. From 2004 to 2009, Andy worked at Barkers as the Business Development Director for Scotland, where they introduced recruitment services and solutions to various professionals. Andy then joined Hays as a Senior Business Manager, focusing on online customer engagement and digital resourcing solutions. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Senior Employer Brand Marketing Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing attraction strategies and campaigns. Following that, they worked at Schneider Electric as the Global Employer Branding Director from 2013 to 2018, where they reshaped industries and enriched lives through thought leadership and connected technologies. Andy then joined Sartorius as the Head of Recruitment and Employer Branding from 2018 to 2020, contributing to the development and advancement of treatments for diseases in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently, Andy works at Hitachi Rail as the Head of Employment Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion, focusing on simplifying talent acquisition and applying technology as an enabler.

Andy Taylor attended Plantsbrook School in Sutton Coldfield from 1985 to 1987. Andy then went on to complete their degree in Industrial and Business Systems at De Montfort University, earning a 2:1, from 1987 to 1991.
