Christopher Bach

Christopher Bach currently serves as the Director of Communications & Institutional Affairs at Hitachi Rail GTS Deutschland GmbH since May 2024. Previously, Bach held the same title at Thales from May 2013 to May 2024, overseeing various communication strategies. As the founder of BACH.Kommunikation, a PR agency specializing in technical PR and media relations from 2003 to April 2021, significant expertise in communication consultancy was developed. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI), Airbus Helicopters Deutschland, Apollis AG, Huawei-3Com, and NEC Deutschland GmbH. Christopher Bach holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Augsburg and is a DPRG-certified Public Relations Specialist. Additionally, Bach has a background as a Reserve Officer in the German Air Force.
