Mark Shorey is currently the Director of Bid and Trade Finance at Hitachi Rail GTS Canada Inc, a position held since 2024. Previously, from 2020 to 2024, Mark served as the Director of Bid and Trade Finance at Thales, where they also held various other leadership roles including Director of Business Strategy and Director of Bid Commercial. With extensive experience in financial operations, Mark directed Financial Operations at Thales from 2005 to 2013. In addition to their corporate roles, Mark actively contributes as the Thales Canada Representative for the Federation of Associations of Staff Shareholders of Thales and serves on the Board of Directors for Innovation ENCQOR and as Treasurer for the Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC). Mark earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Western University, graduating with Honours standing.
