Mark Wilcox is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the rail industry, currently serving as Lead Signalling Engineer at Hitachi Rail since February 2015. In this role, Mark has been involved in the testing and commissioning of a new fleet of high-speed trains for the UK's East Coast and Great Western mainlines, overseeing initial homogenisation testing through to series production fault-free running. Prior to this, Mark held multiple positions at Hitachi Rail, including ETCS Signalling Engineer and Person In Charge Of Test, as well as roles at Bombardier Transportation as Project Engineer and Fleet Delivery Engineer. Mark's career began with hands-on maintenance and operational roles, culminating in a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.
