Markus Scheuer is currently the Head of RAM & LCC at Hitachi Rail, having transitioned to this role in 2024. Previously, they served as the Head of RAM & LCC at THALES Austria from 2013 to 2024 and held positions as RAM Manager and Senior Software Engineer at THALES Austria and ALCATEL Austria AG, respectively. Earlier in their career, Markus worked as a Software Engineer at the Research Center ELIN - ITT Austria from 1986 to 1994. They are currently pursuing degrees in Mathematics at the University of Vienna and Computer Science at the Technical University Vienna.
