Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly is an experienced Technical Author with a strong background in technical documentation across various industries, including rail, nuclear power, and military projects. Currently at Hitachi Rail Europe since July 2016, Patrick has developed processes such as an in-house style guide for producing Vehicle Maintenance Instructions and Procedures for the Class 385 train. Previous roles include Director of Operations at Tecwise Limited and Senior Technical Author positions at EDF Energy and dcs-sonovision UK Limited, where Patrick contributed to critical projects like diesel generator installations at Sizewell B. Patrick’s career also includes technical documentation roles at Hewlett Packard, Arqiva, BAE Systems, and Pennant Information Services, collectively showcasing a versatile skill set in delivering high-quality technical publications.
